Interpunct Services is operated by me, Ryan Chang, who earned his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2016. I've published fiction and literary criticism regularly since then, as well as lectured on academic writing across Los Angeles-area colleges and universities. While my work focuses on arts and critical editorial, I've also maintained a steady secondary portfolio of lifestyle work, particularly in apparel and design.

For writers, researchers, and cultural institutions, I specialize in proofing, editing, and developing all aspects of the writing process, from structure to sentence-level dynamics. I am nimble and adept in disciplinary style guides, including in-house manuals.

My commercial work comprises everything from copy-rich or -lean emails to dense, research-intensive content features and blogs to product copy for apparel.

As a consultant, I also offer business ghostwriting services to excel brand identities, helping develop and refine them to better narrate them in actionable sales channels. I specialize in content writing that situates brands in larger aesthetic contexts.

Current projects include exhibition materials for area institutions. Outside of my editorial practice, I write fiction.
